This hotel is a hidden gem, offering an unforgettable experience. The old chateau is full of history and maintained in a way that gives you a glimpse into the past. The attention to detail is evident, from the comfortable rooms to the beautiful four-poster beds that add a touch of romance. The homemade marmalade at breakfast, accompanied by warm croissants, is a delightful treat that starts your day off right.
Nothing to complain about, our stay was perfect.

I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. The owners, Mr. David and his wife Annette, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The communal dining experience, mentioned in one of the reviews, was a delightful surprise. It was so enjoyable to sit and share a meal with other guests from different countries. The attention to detail in both the aperitif and dinner was impressive. I particularly loved the homemade marmalade at breakfast - it was absolutely delicious.
Everything was absolutely perfect, I couldn't fault a thing.

We spent our New Year's Eve at a charming old French castle and it was simply magical. The history and authentic feel of the place were captivating. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who shared interesting stories about the place. The location was perfect too, we were surrounded by beautiful countryside with lovely views from the windows. The food was incredibly delicious, especially the locally sourced meat, and the homemade breakfast was delightful.
Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike. Maybe the price was a bit on the expensive side, but we believe it was worth every penny for the unique experience we had.

I had the most delightful stay at a charming chateau in a beautiful location. It felt like being part of a large, welcoming house party. I was warmly greeted by the host, who spoke excellent English, and immediately felt at ease. The ambiance was wonderful, with aperitifs in the elegant drawing room, followed by a delicious home cooked supper with the other guests in the dining room. We ended the evening with a game of billiards, coffee, and delightful conversations. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Our weekend stay was a treat for ourselves. The historical atmosphere made us feel like we were in a fairytale. The location, surrounded by nature, was perfect for a quiet and relaxing weekend. The local cuisine for dinner and breakfast was delicious, with fresh ingredients and homemade jams. We also enjoyed socializing with other guests during the joint meals. Lastly, the host was very hospitable, making sure everyone felt looked after and valued.
We didn't find any major issues at the hotel. However, we felt that prices were a bit high, especially for the extras we wanted.

This hotel is located in a great 17th century chateau, giving it a very authentic feel in terms of the history of the building. The rooms are lovely and have recently been renovated, with excellent views of the castle gardens. The hotel also has beautiful gardens that add to the peaceful and pastoral atmosphere. The breakfast here is tailored to the wishes of each guest, with delicious homemade marmalade and options for a larger breakfast with local farm products like cheese, bacon, and eggs.
All was perfect, nothing to improve.

The views of the surrounding farms and rural settings are breathtaking. The rooms are nicely decorated in accordance with the historical style of the building and the ensuite bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The host provides useful information on walks and routes for guests. There is a billiards table available and the drawing room is cozy.
The breakfast options are limited and there could be more variety in the menu.

The ambiance and grandeur of the place create a truly unique and unforgettable atmosphere. Plus, the free Wi-Fi and convenient car park were a great bonus.
